National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB) is an autonomous institute under the Dept of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt of India being estd in the campus of University of Hyderabad

Applications are invited for the Project Fellow positions for various projects at the National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad

Post: Project Fellows

Fellowship: Rs.16,000/- (NET-JRF/GATE) plus 30% HRA p.m; Rs.12,000/- (Others) plus 30% HRA p.m.

Minimum qualifications:

1. M.Sc. in any branch of life sciences

Desirable qualification: Hands on experience in HPLC, Flow Cytometry, microbiology, Molecular Biology and Protein Chemistry techniques

2. M. V. Sc. in Animal Reproduction

Desirable qualification: Experience in handling of large animals (restraining and collection of samples in cattle and buffalo), artificial insemination, pregnancy diagnosis and ultrasonography. Thorough understanding of reproductive physiology is essential. Excellent communication skills towards field-oriented research will be ideal

3. M. V. Sc in Parasitology/M. Sc with experience in parasitology or infectious disease biology

Desirable qualification: Experience in Cell Culture and Molecular Biology techniques

4. M.Sc. /M.Tech in Bioinformatics

Desirable qualification: Experience in Genome data analysis. NET/GATE qualification for all the positions is desirable
