MIT Art, Design and Technology University Pune Admissions 2018 – MIT Art, Design and Technology (MIT ADT) University has released an official notification for the admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate programs for the academic session 2018-19
 
All the Admissions to the MIT ADT University are done on the basis of the merit as per the UGC guideline.Candidates willing to apply must satisfy the required eligibility criteria. If the candidate failed to appear for the valid entrance examination mentioned in the eligibility criteria can apply to the MIT-NET Exam
 
In the routine procedure candidate can apply through the online Application Form and then they need to appear for the Entrance test conducted by the University and then has to undergo valid GD/PI round if required

Eligibility Criteria

For Maharashtra State Candidate and Outside Maharashtra State Candidate: Student qualifying in MIT NAT-2018 will be only consider for admissions to professional courses under the University and will eligible for admissions as per section 2.1 of this document

Admissions to all professional courses under MIT ADT University, Pune will be effected on the basis of merit obtained by student in respective entrance examinations as per section 2.1 of this document

Eligibility Criteria for Under-Graduate (UG) Programs:

a) Technology Programs:

Faculty of Engineering (B.Tech):
 
Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the (10 + 2) level examination of States Board of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / CBSE/ ICSC / IGCSE / IB or any other State Board examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics as compulsory subjects or Diploma in Engineering with minimum of 50% marks (minimum 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only

Candidate willing to take admission to MIT ADT University, Pune must have obtained non- zero score in MH-CET-2018 / JEE (Main)-2018& MIT NAT-2018 / Uni-GAUGE-2018

Faculty of Bio- Engineering (B.Tech.)/ (B.Tech.+M.Tech) Integrated

Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the (10 + 2) level examination of State Board of Higher

Candidates willing to take admission for B. Arch must have appeared NATA -2018 and should have scored more than 80 marks. Candidate also have non zero score in MIT-NAT 2018

Marine Engineering (B.Tech.)

Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the (10 + 2) level examination of State Board of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / CBSE/ ICSC/ IGCSE/IB or any other State Board examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as compulsory subjects with minimum of 60% marks & 50% marks in English

Management Programme (MBA)

Candidates willing to take admission for MBA programs should be Graduate in any discipline with Min 50 % marks & valid score in any one of the exam like CAT-2018/ XAT-2018/ MAT-2018/ CMAT2018 /GMAT2018 /ATMA2018 / MH(MBA) CET-2018& MIT NAT – 2018

Candidates willing to take admission for MBA (Project & Construction Management) should be B. E. Civil / B. Arch with valid GATE score & MIT-NAT 2018

Guidelines for MIT-NAT-2018

Guidelines for the entrance tests MIT-NAT-2018 for admission into the Undergraduate (UG) and the Post-Graduate (PG) programs in Technology, Management and other courses specified in the list.

In MIT-NAT 2018, candidates will be evaluated to test their abilities which is really required for all professional courses.

General English communication skills, comprehension, grammar

Ability to solve problem to address any given situation or set of issues (attitude towards problem solving)

Ability to keenly observe any given thing or situation (keenness of perception). This goes beyond just “looking” at a thing rather than more of “seeing”

General knowledge

Online Computer based exam of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)

No Negative marks for wrong answers

Each Question Paper consist of 125 Marks

Duration of the exam is 2 hours

Tech. MCQ Test paper will be based on, English Language – 20 Marks / Aptitude-15 Marks/ Reasoning-15 Marks/Physics -25 Marks / Chemistry- 25 Marks / Math’s- 25 Marks 0r Biology – 25 marks (Biology is compulsory subject for Food technology and Bioengineering students)

Tech. MCQ Test paper will be based on English Language – 20 Marks / Aptitude-15 Marks/ Reasoning-15 Marks/Graduate level core subject knowledge – 75 Marks

MBA, BBA, B. Sc., M. Sc., MA, BA MCQ Test paper will be based on English Language – 20 Marks / Aptitude-15 Marks/ Reasoning-15 Marks/ Graduate or 10+2 level core subject- 75 Marks.

Fine Art, Performing Art, Mass Communication & Other Programs, the Online Computer based exam of Multiple Chose Questions (MCQ), will be conducted based on Aptitude, Reasoning, General Knowledge, English & Core Subjects
 

Application Process

Documents required to submit the On-line Application Form:

Softcopy (scanned copy) of recently taken passport size color photograph with 10kb – 200kb (Dimensions – 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm) / Softcopy (scanned copy) of Signature of the Candidate with 10kb – 200kb (Dimensions – 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm) in JPG / JPEG format. Selfie photos will not be accepted

Shortlisting of the candidates will be done on the basis of MIT-NAT-2018 score

Step 1

Interested Candidates has to register on http://www.mituniversity.edu.in/applynow/ with correct information and submit the Application form with Fees Rs.1200 /- through online payment gateway

Last Date of Application is 10th June 2018

Step 2

Merit list will be displayed considering the score in JEE (Mains) Paper-I or MHT-CET 2018 or Uni-GAUGE 2018 or Any Other State CET and the same will be communicated to the candidates. After receiving the mail of confirmation for admission, the candidate has to pay Rs. 80,000 /- By NEFT/RTGS or Demand Draft/ Cheque.

Step 3

After declaration of HSC/12th Board results, you have to forward the scanned photocopy of Mark sheets to our admission mail id: admissions.mitsoe@mituniversity.edu.in

Step 4

The confirmed candidates have to report on 31st July 2018 for Welcome & Orientation to B.Tech courses. The teaching will commence from 01st August 2018
