Application Form Available (online): 01st January 2016

Last Date for Application: 31st January 2016

Payment for the application through bank challan can only be made till: 28th March 2016

However, Electronic payments can be made till 31st January 2016 till 05.00 PM

Admit Card Available Online From 07th February 2016

Admit card can also be obtained in person (in case of inability to download) on 13th February 2016 between 10.00 AM to 04.00 PM from the Office of Controller-of-Examinations, Pariksha (PHI) Bhawan, KG Medical University Lucknow on payment of Rs.100/-

Date of Written Exam: 14th February 2016 (11.00 am to 02.00 pm, reporting time 10.00 am)

Result can be seen on Website: 20th February 2016 onwards

Tentative Date of 1st Counselling: 24th February 2016

Tentative Date of 2nd Counselling: 21st March 2016

Session starts on 01st March 2016

Last date upto which students can be admitted against vacancies due to any reason: 31st March 2016

Duration: Duration of Course is four and a half years (4 ½ years)

No. of Seats: The number of seats is 40

Educational Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications for admission are:

a) Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (12 years) (or);

b) Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (10+2) (or);

c) An equivalent examination with 12 years schooling from a recognized board or University with Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology) and English

d) Candidates from general and OBC category must have secured an aggregate of at least 50% marks and at least 40% of marks in the case of SC/ST category in the qualifying exam

Age Limit: Must be minimum age for admission is 17 years on or before 31st December 2015

Physical Fitness

Both males and females are eligible. Candidates must be medically fit. Additional medical check-up may be done before admission (the candidates who are in the merit list are required to submit certificate of physical fitness from registered medical practitioner)

Selection Process

Admission to BPT course in the University will be made on the basis of entrance examination scheduled to be held on 14th February 2016 at Lucknow

The selection of the candidates will be strictly based on the merit of the entrance exam

Application and Exam Fee (non refundable)

Candidates for the entrance test will have to pay a Non-refundable fee of Rs.3000/- for Gen & OBC and Rs.1000/- for SC/ST payable through Allahabad Bank or HDFC Bank along with the prescribed application form duly filled in

Payment of Exam Fee

Online: By Credit Card/Debit Card (Master/Visa Only) or Netbanking till 31st January 2016 Candidate can directly proceed for filling of application form after payment

Offline: Candidate can also deposit CASH through bank challan of Allahabad bank/HDFC bank till 28th January 2016, for this first download bank challan from website and deposit the exam fee in any branch of the Allahabad Bank or HDFC bank branch in India

The candidate will be provided a receipt with Transaction ID number on its deposition. It is required to be upload scan copy of this Bank receipt with this transaction ID for filling the application form. In case of payment by bank Challan candidate will be re-login with their login ID and Password

Candidate required to send scanned copy of bank receipt ready for the filling the application form at this stage

Counselling Procedure

Counselling shall be held at K.G. Medical University, U.P., Lucknow on (i) 24th February 2016 and (ii) 21th March 2016

A non-refundable fee of Rs.300/- have to be submitted through Bank Draft in favour of ‘KGMU Institute of Paramedical Sciences’ payable at Lucknow, at the time of counselling

A separate Bank Draft of Rs.5000/- in favour of Controller of Examination, payable at Lucknow has to be deposited by the candidates at the time of counselling, on award of seat

The Bank Draft of Rs.5000/- shall be returned to candidate on his/her joining Course. However, if the candidate opts for seat and does not join then University will forfeit that money
