Junior Diploma of Kerala State Co-operative Union Admission to JDC 2018

 
State Cooperative Union, Kerala has invited applications for admission to the Junior Diploma Course (JDC) being conducted in the Institutions /Colleges under it from June 2018
 
Application Procedure

    • Applications can be obtained in person from Cooperative Training Institutes at Trivandrum (Kuravankonam), Kottarakkara (Avanoor), Chertalai (Deepika Junction), Kottayam (Nagampadom), Idukki (Nedungandom), Thrissur (Ayyanthole), Palakkad (Victoria College Road), Kozhikode (Thali), Kannur (South bazar), Wayanad (Karani), Kasaragod (Munnad) and the Cooperative Colleges at Pala (Meenachil Complex), Tirur (Mavumkunnu), Aranmula (NSS Karayogam Building), North Paravur (Sahakari Bhavan), Thalassery (Mannayad)

 

  • The address and contact number and the jurisdiction of applicants to be eligible for selection at each centre, can be obtained from the Prospectus and Notification that are available at http://scukerala.org/

 

  • For applications to be collected in person, application fee is Rs.75/- for General category, Rs.50/- for SC/ST category and Rs.150/- for employees of Cooperative Societies
  • Last date for issue of applications in person is 31st March 2018
  • Filled applications along with copies of the documents mentioned in the Prospectus, should reach the concerned Training Centre/College, latest by 5 pm on 31st March 2018
  • Those applying under Sports Quota should send their application to Secretary, State Cooperative Union, Chengal Choola, Thiruvananthapuram-695001, with copy of it along with attested copies of certificates to Secretary, Sports Council, Thiruvananthapuram to reach by the last date prescribed
  • Those applicants applying under sports quota and desirous of being considered under general category also should submit separate application for General category.
  • The course will be held from 04th June 2018 to 31st March 2019. This will include 2 practical training periods of 15 days each.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applications should have passed SSLC
  • Those with Class 10 examinations of CBSE, CISCE and equivalent courses are also eligible
  • In case of grading system of evaluation appoint should have secured at least D+ Grade in all subjects

 
Age Limit

  • Applicant should be completing the age of 16 years on 01st June 2018 and should not be over 40 years as on this day; the upper age limit will be 45 years for applicants of SC/ST categories and 43 in case of OBC category
  • There is no upper age limit in case of employees of Cooperative Societies

 
Seats Details

  • Of the total seats at a Centre, 50% seats will be for students, 35% seats will be for those employees of Cooperative Societies who are on its pay rolls, and 15% seats will be for Departmental Staff (Cooperation, Fisheries, Industries, Dairy Development, Coir Departments)
  • Those selected will be sent interview card from the concerned Training Centre/College.
