CUSAT announces Short Term Training Programme Admission 2014

Division of Mechanical Engineering, School of Engineering, Cochin University Science and Technology, Kochi, announces admission to Short Term Training Programme (STTP) on “Modern Trends in Energy Environment and Green Technology” scheduled to be conducted during 21st – 25th April 2014.

About TEQIP: Technical Education Quality Improvement programme (TEQIP) of Govt of India aims to improve the quality to Technical Education by providing imputes like modernization of laboratories, library, curricula and faculty developments, networking between institutions, research and interaction with industries etc., to become dynamic, demand driven, quality conscious, responsive to rapid technological developments occulting both at national and International levels

Programme Content: Energy system modeling, Energy conservation, Process integration, Water conservation, Environmental technologies, Green buildings, Renewable technologies

Eligibility for STTP 2014 at CUSAT:

This training programme is intended for teachers from AICTE recognized engineering colleges and polytechnics, engineers and managers from industries and practicing engineers

The course is interdisciplinary in nature; Civil, Chemical, Electrical, Electronics, Environmental and Mechanical Engineers are eligible for applying

How to Apply?

Interested applicants may send their applications in the format given on link with an endorsement from the competent person of their institution/organization to the effect that the applicant if selected will be allowed to participate in the STTP for the entire period

A scanned copy of the application may be sent via email in advance

The completed application along with the endorsement and registration fee must reach the coordinators on or before 11th April 2014

Registration Fee: Rs.1000/- for teachers from AICTE approved engineering colleges and Rs.3000/- for participants from industries and others

The duly sponsored application form along with course fee as Demand Draft drawn in favour of Principal, School of Engineering Cochin University of Science and Technology, payable at SBT, CUSAT Campus branch should be sent to the Course Co-coordinator’s address on or before 11th April 2014

No TA/DA will be paid to the participates
