Courses Offered:

Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital Administration (EPGDHA):

Eligibility:

Bachelor’s Degree: (under 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years of formal education) in any discipline.

Medical degrees: (Allopathic, Ayurvedic, Homeopathy, Unani, Sidha and Dentistry), BSc  Nursing, Post BSc Nursing,  paramedical and allied health degrees in the fields of pharmacy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and other paramedical disciplines.

Other bachelor’s degrees: Like Engineering, Law and in any discipline or other degree holders.

Candidates have been working at least 2 years in hospitals.

Candidate should be currently working in a hospital

Minimum marks should be 45% for general category and 35% marks for SC/ST candidates

Diploma in Health Administration (DHA):

Eligibility: Bachelor’s Degree (under 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years of formal education), in any discipline and has been working at least 3 years in government or non-government organization in the field of public health.

Medical degrees: (Allopathic, Ayurvedic, Homeopathy, Unani, Sidha and Dentistry), B.Sc

Nursing, Post BSc Nursing, paramedical and allied health degrees in the fields of pharmacy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and other paramedical disciplines.

Other bachelor’s degrees: like Engineering, Law and in any discipline or other degree holders and have been working in public health organizations for at least 3 years.

Candidate should be currently working in a health care organization

The minimum eligibility to apply is 45% of marks (35% for Scheduled Castes [SCs], Scheduled Tribes [STs] and OBC) or a Postgraduate degree (after completion of Bachelor’s degree under 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education) in any discipline.

Candidates who belong to any age group shall apply for this programme

Sponsored candidates with financial support from the employer will be given preference in admission

Diploma in Public Health Practice (DPHP):

Eligibility:

Bachelor’s Degree: (under 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years of formal education), in any discipline and has been working at least 3 years in government or non-government organization in the field of public health.

Medical degrees: (Allopathic, Ayurvedic, Homeopathy, Unani, Sidha and Dentistry), B.Sc Nursing, Post BSc Nursing, paramedical and allied health degrees in the fields of pharmacy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and other paramedical disciplines and have been working at least 3 years in government or non-government organization in the field of public health.

The Filled in application form along with the important certificates and the Demand draft of Rs 1000/- in the name of “Tata Institute of Social Science” should be submitted to The Secretariat, School of health system studies, Tata institute of social sciences, Deonar, Mumbai-400088

Last Date for Receipt of the application form 30th September, 2013

Selection Procedure:

The eligible candidates will be called for interview at the Institute in Mumbai.

Those who are selected will be given provisional admission to the programme subject to verification of their eligibility certificates.

This will be done a day before the contact programme of the first semester

Note: Date of Interview, date announcement of final selection list and date of commencement of the programme shall be communicated in due course of time.
